Cool Colors® Cobalt Aluminate Blue Spinel (PB28)

Cool Colors® Pigment Blue 28 (C.I. 77346) Cobalt Aluminate Blue pigments offer moderate NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) of blue mixed oxide consisting of Cobalt (II) and Aluminum (III), with a chemical formula CoAl2O4 and a spinel structure.

Cool Colors® PB28 Cobalt Aluminate Blue Spinel pigments range from reddish blue to turquoise blue. They are opaque to visible light with moderate NIR reflectance ("cool pigment") and offer properties that include ease of dispersion with excellent dimensional stability, resulting in no warping or shrinkage.
